About Omtarae

In a world filled with noise, Omtarae exists to help you return to stillness.

We are a handcrafted singing bowl brand rooted in Tibetan tradition, offering authentic, hand-hammered singing bowls forged by master artisans in the Himalayas. Every bowl is more than an object, it’s a spiritual instrument, tuned with intention and crafted for healing, meditation, and transformation.

Our Origin

Omtarae was born from a moment of stillness.

Named after Tara, the Tibetan goddess of compassion, our journey began in doubt. We thought singing bowls were just ornaments until a friend handed us one. The sound it made wasn’t just beautiful, it moved something deep within us. A sudden sense of calm. An emotional release. It felt like a weight had lifted from our shoulders.

Then came our first sound bath. One of us had carried tension in the shoulders for years. But by the end of that session, it had melted away. The effect was undeniable. These bowls weren’t just instruments—they were healing tools.

That moment changed everything.

We began using the bowls in our daily practice to support meditation, ease anxiety, and invite a deeper sense of peace.

We created Omtarae to share this experience with others. Whether you seek stillness, healing, or inner transformation, we believe in the power of sound to guide you there.
